WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE POLEMARCH

On behalf of the Brothers of the Hyattsville/Landover (MD) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, I welcome you to our home on the web!

I have the distinct honor of serving as the 13th Polemarch of this great chapter, as well as being the first initiate of our chapter to serve as its Polemarch. Our chapter has served the citizens of Prince George 's County, Maryland since March 18, 1979. During that time, we have been a visible force in the community providing programs that serve the youth as well as the entire community at large.

We have long standing programs geared toward our youth such as our SAT Workshops, Countywide Essay Contests, and College Scholarship Awards. Our community at large benefits from our Thanksgiving & Christmas Baskets, Financial Aid Informational Forums and Voter Registration Drives.

Our Prince George ’s County community has changed significantly since our chartering, so our chapter continually changes to make sure that we are providing our best by developing and implementing new and innovative programs in the areas of Guide Right, Political Action, and Community Outreach/Social Action. Each and every member of our chapter has pledged to work together to make Prince George ’s County a better place for all. Our fraternity motto is Achievement, and to us it’s more than just a word, “It’s Who We Are, It’s What We Do”!
