Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
Anchor of the East

Greetings, and welcome to the official webpage of the Hyattsville-Landover (MD) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. I am humbled and honored to serve as the 21st Polemarch of this distinguished chapter.

As we carry forward the rich legacy of our noble fraternity, I remain committed to leading with purpose, unity, and an unwavering dedication to service. Our chapter’s mission is deeply rooted in brotherhood, fellowship, and meaningful engagement with the greater Prince George’s County community. Whether through mentoring youth, supporting local initiatives, or collaborating with our fellow NPHC organizations, we strive to make a lasting and positive impact.

We believe in the value of serving while advancing—ensuring that our actions reflect the ideals of Kappa Alpha Psi while strengthening the bonds of collective action. As Polemarch, I strive to forge strong partnerships, highlight the contributions of the Divine Nine, and position our chapter as a shining example of leadership, service, and excellence.

Together, we will honor our past, uplift our present, and build a brighter future for generations to come.

Yours in the Bond,

Hon. Jeffrey T. Smith
